<p>Prithviraj Sukumaran encountered the on-set accident while filming a pivotal action sequence in the movie ‘Vilayath Buddha’. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s leg was injured when he tried to jump out of a bus as part of the fight sequence. <p>After undergoing successful keyhole surgery on Monday, June 26, Prithviraj Sukumaran is expected to take a temporary hiatus from work for a few weeks. According to sources, the actor has fully recovered and is in good health. Taking to this official Instagram handle, Prithviraj Sukumaran penned a note that read, “Hello! So yes..I had an accident while shooting an action sequence for ‘Vilayath Buddha’. Fortunately, I’m in the hands of experts who performed keyhole surgery and I’m now recouping. It’s rest and physiotherapy ahead for a couple of months.”
Prithviraj Sukumaran further added in the note saying that he will try his best to use the resting time constructively, to recover fully and get back in action.
Prithviraj’s Instagram note further read, “Will try my best to use that time constructively, and I promise to fight through the pain to recover fully and get back into action asap. Thank you all those who reached out and expressed concern and love.”
Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran has the most anticipated upcoming project ‘Aadujeevitham’ which is waiting to hit the big screens soon.
