Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off 5 new semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express trains on June 27. The new 8 coach Vande Bharat Express trains will be launched on 5 new routes; Mumbai-Goa, Indore-Bhopal, Patna-Ranchi, Jabalpur-Rani Kamlapati and Bengaluru-Hubballi-Dharwad.
We take a look at the train numbers, routes, stoppages and schedule of the 5 new Vande Bharat Express trains:
22229/22230 CSMT-MADGAON VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS SCHEDULE & STOPPAGES
For the Mumbai-Goa-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express the timetable will vary depending on the time of the year. Running under the Konkan Railway zone, the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express will take more time during the monsoon season due to speed restrictions.

  • As per the monsoon timetable (normally applicable from June to September), Train number 22229 CSMT – Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will depart from Mumbai at 5:25 AM to reach Madgaon in Goa at 3:30 PM, taking 10 hours and 5 minutes. En route it will halt at Dadar at 5:32 AM, Thane at 5:52 AM, Panvel at 6:30 AM, Khed at 8:48 AM, Ratnagiri at 10:40 AM, Kankavali at 12:45 PM and Thivim at 2:24 PM. The 8 coach train will run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from CSMT to Madgaon during the monsoon timetable season.
  • In the return direction, Train number 22230 Madgaon – CSMT Vande Bharat Express will leave the next day at 12:20 PM to reach CSMT at 10:25 PM. It will stop at Thivim at 1:06 PM, Kankavali at 2:18 PM, Ratnagiri at 4:55 PM, Khed at 6:40 PM, Panvel at 9:00 PM, Thane at 9:35 PM and Dadar at 10:05 PM. The 8 coach train from Madgaon to CSMT will run on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday during the monsoon timetable season.
  • For its regular non-monsoon timetable, Train number 22229 CSMT – Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will depart from Mumbai at 5:25 AM to reach Madgaon in Goa at 1:10 PM, taking 7 hours and 45 minutes. En route it will halt at Dadar at 5:32 AM, Thane at 5:52 AM, Panvel at 6:30 AM, Khed at 8:24 AM, Ratnagiri at 9:45 AM, Kankavali at 11:20 AM and Thivim at 12:28 PM.
  • In the return direction on the same day, Train number 22230 Madgaon – CSMT Vande Bharat Express will leave from Goa at 2:40 PM to reach CSMT at 10:25 PM. It will halt at Thivim at 3:20 PM, Kankavali at 4:18 PM, Ratnagiri at 5:45 PM, Khed at 7:08 PM, Panvel at 9:00 PM, Thane at 9:35 PM and Dadar at 10:05 PM.

The CSMT-Madgoan-CSMT Vande Bharat Express will run all days of the week except for Friday during its regular, non-monsoon run.
20911/20912 INDORE-BHOPAL VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS SCHEDULE & STOPPAGES
Train number 20911 Indore Junction – Bhopal Vande Bharat Express will depart from Indore at 6:30 AM to reach Bhopal at 9:35 AM, taking 3 hours and 5 minutes for the journey. En route it will stop at Ujjain from 7:15 AM to 7:20 AM. In the return direction, Train number 20912 Bhopal – Indore Junction Vande Bharat Express will depart from Bhopal at 7:25 PM and reach Indore at 10:30 PM. It will stop at Ujjain from 9:30 PM to 9:35 PM. The 8 coach train will run for all days in the week except for Sunday.
22349/22350 PATNA-RANCHI VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS SCHEDULE & STOPPAGES
Train number 22349 Patna – Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will depart from Patna at 7:00 AM to reach Ranchi at 1:00 PM taking 6 hours. En route it will halt at Gaya at 8:25 AM, Koderma at 9:35 AM, Hazaribag at 10:33 AM, Barkakana at 11:35 AM and Mesra at 12:20 PM. In the return direction, Train number 22350 Ranchi – Patna Vande Bharat Express will depart at 4:15 PM to arrive in Patna at 10:05 PM taking 5 hours and 50 minutes. It will stop at Mesra at 4:35 PM, Barkakana at 5:30 PM, Hazaribag at 6:30 PM, Koderma at 7:23 PM and Gaya at 8:45 PM. The 8 coach train will run for all days in the week except for Tuesday.
20661/20662 KSR BENGALURU CITY – DHARWAD VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS SCHEDULE & STOPPAGES
Train number 20661 KSR Bengaluru City – Dharwad Vande Bharat Express will leave KSR Bengaluru City station at 5:45 AM to reach Dharwad at 12:10 PM taking 6 hours and 20 minutes. En route it will stop at Yesvantpur at 5:55 AM, Davangere at 9:15 AM and SSS Hubballi at 11:30 AM. On the return journey, Train number 20662 Dharwad – KSR Bengaluru City Vande Bharat Express will depart at 1:15 PM to arrive in KSR Bengaluru City at 7:45 PM taking 6 hours and 30 minutes. It will stop at SSS Hubballi at 1:35 PM, Davangere at 3:38 PM and Yesvantpur at 7:13 PM. The 8 coach train will run for all days in the week except for Tuesday.
20174/20173 JABALPUR-RANI KAMLAPATI VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS SCHEDULE & STOPPAGES
Train number 20174 Jabalpur – Rani Kamalapati Vande Bharat Express will depart from 6:00 AM from Jabalpur and arrive at Rani Kamalapati station at 10:35 PM taking 4 hours and 35 minutes. En route it will stop at Narsinghpur at 6:55 AM, Piparia at 7:55 AM and Narmadapuram at 9:23 AM for 2 minutes each.
In the return direction, Train number 20173 Rani Kamalapati – Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will depart from Rani Kamalapati at 7:00 PM and reach Jabalpur at 11:35 PM. En route it will stop at Narmadapuram at 7:51 PM, Piparia at 9:15 PM and Narsinghpur at 10:15 PM for 2 minutes each. The 8 coach train will run for all days in the week except for Tuesday.
